It's easy to get involved - simply share how you are getting healthier as a family (ideas below) on social media all week with the hashtags

Enjoy a Thanksgiving in June Meal with Family/Friends

Get Moving Together & Have Fun Being Active

  • Play some tag football with family/friends out in the yard
  • Find a new beautiful spot to go for a family walk or hike
  • Maybe have your own "Turkey Trot" with your family and/or friends to commit to getting moving together
  • Try something new that gets you physically active together as a family
  • Bounce it out a trampoline park
  • Swing it through at a driving range or on the course
  • Make small changes to get more active
  • Take the steps instead of the elevator
  • Park as far away as possible, instead of looking for the closest spot
  • Share how you are just moving - #ThanksgivingInJune #LoveYourLiver

Give Back & Show Your Thankfulness

  • Buy a healthy meal for someone less fortunate
  • Send a message of encouragement to someone who needs it
  • Leave little messages of hope around town to brighten another's day
  • Start each day spending time with your family and talk about what you are thankful for each day
  • Find a community service activity to volunteer together as a family
  • Commit random acts of kindness throughout the week
  • Share other ideas to give back and show thankfulness - #ThanksgivingInJune #LoveYourLiver

New Title

  • The pandemic brought the importance of health front-and-center but not in all the right ways
  • The pandemic also elevated some of the biggest epidemics we were already facing - obesity, mental health, addiction
  • We need to re-prioritize living healthy and lead by example for our future generations
  • HEALTH IS WEALTH and we are committed to spreading the wealth of health across the world this year

"LET'S GET BACK ON TRACK"

  • Through the pandemic we relearned what is important and what matters most
  • We all want to feel good and need an emotional uplift - this starts on the inside, focusing on physical and mental health
  • Small changes over time can drive big transformations
  • The pandemic forced many to lose precious family time, especially Thanksgiving so it's time we say enough is enough and start living again. LET'S GET BACK ON TRACK!

"DO THE RIGHT THING"

-Spread Gratitude-

  • Challenges teach us to innovate and adapt so we can evolve
  • Begin with a grateful heart and mind - spread to family & friends
  • It's time we make Thanksgiving in June a new tradition
  • Centered around health, gratitude, and thankfulness
  • Delivering thank you cards to our medical heroes
  • Donating 100 healthy meals to a local women's shelter
  • We need to DO THE RIGHT THING for our kids, our family, for our future generations

Remember to share on social media! We all need to get back on track and need a boost of positivity in our lives to inspire a healthy future! Together we can commit to POSITIVITY, HEALTH, AND HAPPINESS all in the spirit of DOING THE RIGHT THING for OURSELVES, and most importantly, our FUTURE GENERATIONS. TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
